Chinaing

For the next two months or so, I'll be in China.

I'll have the occasional dialup internet access, but updates will be far and in between.

Have a great summer everyone, and stay off those drugs :)

Because I'm feeling particularly generous

I have decided to share some of the music that I've been really really into lately. Most of these songs have come from other people. Much thanks to them.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/zq2vt1

These songs are loverly and wonderful, and it's in one nice compressed zip folder for you all.

What's better than free music? XD

There's no particular theme, but I've entitled it "Over the Moon," for labeling purposes.

Alanis Morisette- Wunderkind

Pretty little diddy from the Chronicles of Narnia OST.

Dishwalla- Candleburn

Emo-esque, but quite pretty nonetheless.

Mae-Suspension

I LOVE this song. It's upbeat and fantabulous. The singer for Mae has a really smooth, creamy, awesome voice.

Mae- The Everglow

Gorgeous song. Upbeat as well. Very uplifting.

Mae- The Sun and the Moon

Slow Mae song, lots of instrumentals.

The Postal Service- Brand New Colony

Really really fun song, especially if you're familiar with the Mario video games.

Remy Ma- Whateva

This is a dance song. That is all.

Bone Thugs N Harmony- Take the Lead

This movie was amazing. The choreography really matched the soundtrack, and this was one of those songs that gets stuck in your mind after the movie is over... a week later.

And the Family Stone- Que Sera Sera

Pretty, choral-ish kind of song. Think pre-Katrina Orleans night club kind of song.

Flyleaf- All Around Me

The singer has a great voice; be forewarned, this is emo.

Within Temptation- Stand my Ground

Gothic rock, kind of. Reminds me of [overrated] Evanescence, but it is very pretty and distinctly European. Think Notre Dame crossed with the Lochness Lake. I don't know.

Full Blown Rose- In the Light

I think this is some sort of Christian rock song. I don't know. It's really pretty, religious connotations or not.

David Usher- Surfacing

Slow, smooth, niiiiice.

Dishwalla-Collide

A faster Dishwalla song; again, this is emo

E.S. Posthumus- Pompeii

Instrumental and upbeat. Pompeii translates to fire, I believe. This group is just amazing.

If you snab this and like it, then I TAG you to upload your own CD of sorts. (I've caught the livejournal flu) Even if you don't like it, upload some songs. Hell, make a pretty cover to go with it! I was lazy, and it's 3 in the morning. :-p

I don't think anyone on xanga has done this before... so get to it, my friends. :)
